Medco is a leading pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and the nation’s largest mail-order pharmacy operator. The company was harmed by a new regulation passed by the Minnesota Legislature in 2009. The regulation would have impaired the process of Medco customers getting their prescriptions approved in a timely manner.
Following successful coalition lobbying by Goff Public, the 2010 Legislature amended the regulation that passed the previous year. This helps Medco keep the prescription process simpler for its Minnesota customers and consumers.
